Celebrate the joy of the festive season by hosting your unforgettable Christmas party at Old Palace Chester, an exclusive-use events venue in the centre of historic Chester.

As your guests arrive, they’ll be greeted with a choice of refreshing Prosecco or warming mulled wine, getting them in the festive spirit from the moment they walk through the doors. Together, you’ll then indulge in a sumptuous three-course dinner, expertly prepared by our talented chefs, accompanied by half a bottle of wine per person to enhance the dining experience.

After dinner, unwind with a cosy tea & coffee station accompanied by delicious mince pies. Your guests can enjoy capturing the fun and festivities of their evening in our onsite before dancing the night away. At the end of the night, there are 23 bedrooms for guests to stay overnight at the venue with prices from £140 per room. A DJ is available on request at £400 inc VAT.

Minimum party size is for 60 guests and a minimum spend of £4,500. The venue takes a maximum of 150 for a seat dinner and 200 standing reception. As this is for bespoke party nights, the menu choices must be submitted 4 weeks in advance of your party date.

Built in 1751, The Old Palace is one of the earliest Georgian buildings in historic Chester. The Palace has riverside views across The Groves and River Dee. It is a short walk from Chester Amphitheatre, a fifteen minute walk from Chester Rail Station and 3.6 miles from Chester Zoo.

The hotel has recently been restored and is now defined as an exclusive-use venue with 23 ensuite bedrooms and event space for up to 160 guests.
