Below are details of last year’s parties, to give you an idea of what we can do.

CHRISTMAS PARTIES
From cosy dinners to all-out year-end parties, whether it’s a booking in our private games room Flukes or a group trip to our four-lane curling arena (yes, really!) installed just for Christmas – when it comes to the festive season, we go BIG.

We’ve created festive party packages that hit all the right notes – food, drinks, entertainment and more. But if you want to customise anything, just ask – we’ll always try to make it yours for the night, whatever your vision. Enjoy a night of DJ and dancing and delicious food with friends and family. 

Any of our event spaces can be booked out for your own special private night:

EVENT SPACE 
Our versatile Event Space plays host to a huge range of parties. With a private bar, separate access to our huge garden, and the ability to partition the room for smaller events, it is hugely flexible. Maximum 700 capacity.

GARDEN 
Our large garden is a real sun trap filled with beautiful greenery. You can hire a section for your event or the entire space as part of a whole building hire. It shares linked access to our Event Space, providing a fantastic indoor/outdoor combination for all events, or a backup indoor space in case of wet weather. As well as food from our in-house kitchen, we can organise a barbecue, food trucks or even the option to bring your own caterer. Maximum 700 capacity.

BEER HALL 
Our hugely atmospheric Beer Hall is the largest in the UK, and provides a unique setting for smaller groups or large parties. The Beer Hall is only available exclusively as part of a whole building hire, making full use of our 2,000 capacity.

FLUKES 
Flukes is our new games hall that merges vintage aesthetics with cutting-edge gaming. Think interactive darts, shuffleboard, American pro pool, and private karaoke booths, all set against a stylish backdrop and a killer soundtrack. Perfect for a team Christmas night out, a full-blown party, or as part of a wider venue takeover. Maximum 200 capacity.

BIG PENNY STUDIO
Launching August 2025, Big Penny Studio is our brand-new event space - smart, flexible, and seamlessly connected to the wider Big Penny Social. Now available to hire, it’s perfect for everything from private parties to corporate gatherings. This November, The Studio will undergo a festive transformation, featuring a stylish 
Christmas makeover complete with curling lanes - ideal for group bookings or 
as a memorable addition to your festive party package. Maximum 250 capacity.

Big Penny Social is a fun filled beer hall with games and live events, Big Penny Social is all about community - it’s a pub, arts centre and town square all rolled into one. With a large selection of restaurants and hotels nearby and Blackhorse Road train station just an eight minute walk away it is in an ideal location.
