LOST IN OZ CHRISTMAS PARTY NIGHTS
Welcome to the land of OZ
Join us, in our 30th year of themed parties in support of your independent, local venue, to celebrate Christmas as we present ‘Lost in Oz’. Step into our Western Wilderness themed welcome area, where your journey begins, and meet some familiar faces from the classic tale. Dorothy will be there to greet you, the Scarecrow requires some assistance, and The Good Witch, who will dazzle with her enchanting bubble show.
This is no place for guests around a pigsty
When the wind starts to howl, and we call through to dinner, hold on tight because the Twister is coming! Follow the yellow brick road as you’re swept through our immersive wind tunnel, transported from the quiet plains of Kansas into the vibrant wonder of Oz. Step through Dorothy’s house, caught mid spin, and emerge into the magical land of Oz.
Somewhere over the rainbow
Once settled in Oz, guests will find themselves nestled between the glowing poppy fields and the edge of The Haunted Forest, with distant views of the Emerald City. Prepare for a feast that even the Wizard would envy. A sumptuous three course dinner awaits, paired with a gravity- defying performance from our flying monkey acrobats and a hypnotic LED cube display. It’s a feast for the senses, where fantasy and flavour come together in perfect harmony.
Are you a good Witch or a bad Witch?
After dinner, the energy rises and the real party begins. Guests can take a spin on the dodgems if they’ve got the courage, or hit the dance floor where the DJ and live Sax bring the energy all night long for those with a heart for music. And if you’ve got the brains you’ll know this is one party you’ll never forget! ‘It’s just life, so keep dancing through’ till it’s time to depart the Noble City….

About the venue
Trunkwell House is set in 34 acres of beautiful Berkshire countryside and can provide a one-stop, in-house service for all aspects of events. In early 2016 we underwent a huge renovation of the mansion house and now have some beautiful boudoir style bedrooms for your guests to stay over.
We specialise in both large and small productions, breath-taking designs and theming, spectacular entertainment and mouth-watering food. We will create an event to be remembered by everyone for its originality, style and smooth running. Turn your Christmas Party into the event of the year at Trunkwell House.
Trunkwell House is to the south of Reading in Beech Hill one mile from the A33 road, 5 minutes on foot from the Beech Hill village centre, and 3 miles from a petting zoo and walking trails at Wellington Country Park. The nearest train station, Mortimer Station, which is about two miles away from the venue.
