Private Christmas Parties 2025 at Shelter Hall Brighton

For Christmas 2025 Shelter Hall will be transformed into a winter wonderland. With a variety of event spaces including, the main hall, mezzanine level, private dining room, private cocktail bar and intimate igloos. 

Each of our resident kitchens will have specially curated Christmas dishes and our bars will be releasing seasonal cocktail menus. Claim a free bottle of fizz for 6 people, please submit an enquiry for more detail.

PRIVATE HIRE
For Christmas bookings, a small room hire is charged, alongside a fixed minimum spend on food and drink for each area, minimum spends vary according to time, date and capacity. Extras we can provide for an additional fee include photo booth, DJ & entertainment, audio visual, decorations and bespoke requests for up to 600 guests. 

Food and drink options:

Full selection of sharing platters from all of our seven kitchens to share.
Allow your guests to order for themselves using a preloaded voucher code. 
A mix of pre ordered food and arrival drinks and self ordering after.

To match the unique food hall experience some large groups favour pre paid digital voucher which all guests can use in person, digitally. Guests will however eat at different times and manage the experience themselves.

There are a choice of spaces:

MAIN HALL
Available to book for large groups shared with other bookings, or for exclusive hire. The ground floor offers large traditional communal tables right in the heart of Shelter Hall, amongst our seven kitchens. Perfect for groups who want a buzzy atmospheric event with the option for digital ordering or table buffets. Exclusive hires can also request a DJ, live band, dance floor or presentation screens for an additional cost.

Capacity: 400 standing, 300 seated

FESTIVE PRIVATE DINING ROOM
Our beautiful private dining space is perfect for special occasions this Christmas, available exclusively for pre-booked groups of 6 to 12 guests. To reserve the room, there's a £20 per person minimum spend, which we'll turn into a pre-paid voucher for you to enjoy on the day -whether that's for delicious dishes, cocktails, or a bit of both.

MEZZANINE
Available to book for exclusive hire, our first floor mezzanine overlooks the main hall with panoramic views of the seafront and the iconic piers. Ideal for a stand up reception of drinks with finger food or sharing platters. Includes private use to five outside balconies. Capacity: 150 standing, 80 seated

SKYLARK BAR
Our hidden Skylark bar sits tucked away on our first floor. This gorgeous space offers a quieter experience with dedicated mixologists at the bar and optional table service. Ideal for standing drinks, suited to digital ordering or platter dining, the bar is available for exclusive hire or arrival drinks before eating In the main hall. Capacity: 50 standing, 30 seated

CHRISTMAS IGLOOS
This festive season, our outdoor terrace will be transformed into a winter wonderland! Enjoy stunning views of Brighton's iconic seafront in the comfort of your own private, heated, and beautifully decorated igloo. Perfect for family gatherings, Christmas celebrations with friends, festive date nights, or work do's with a difference. Our igloos provide a unique and cosy setting to make this season one to remember

Capacity: 2-16 per igloo, minimum spend £25 per person in November & £30 per person in December.
