Step into an evening of festive glamour at Starry Nights at Stanley House, a shared Christmas party designed to sparkle long after the stars come out. From the moment you arrive at our House on the Hill, the tone is set. Twinkling lights. Elegant surroundings. A warm welcome and a sense of occasion that carries through the evening. 

Take your seat and enjoy a beautifully prepared three-course festive dinner (two- course if booking Thursday nights), served in our styled party space dressed for the season. As the evening unfolds, our DJ will bring the dancefloor to life with feel-good anthems. Pause for photographs beneath the lights. Raise a glass with your colleagues. Celebrate the year you’ve shared.

PRIVATE PARTIES
For those who prefer to celebrate in their own way, we offer exclusive private hire throughout November and December. From an intimate gathering of 50 to a spectacular celebration for over 150 guests, our beautifully styled spaces provide the perfect setting for your festive event. Twinkling lights, elegant décor and a warm welcome await as your guests arrive at our House on the Hill. 

Enjoy a two* or three-course festive dinner, or opt for a seasonal buffet designed to suit your style of celebration. A DJ is included (subject to minimum numbers), with the option to enhance your celebration with a live saxophonist or bespoke touches tailored to you. 

Our dedicated Festive Event Planners will guide you through every detail, from menus and room styling to timings and finishing touches, ensuring your Starry Night feels seamless from arrival to the final song.

FESTIVE TEAM BUILDING AT STANLEY HOUSE

Choose a festive lunch, or settle in for Afternoon Tea with delicate sweets, savoury treats and a glass of something sparkling to toast the season. However you choose to gather, the House on the Hill provides the backdrop. Twinkling lights. Seasonal flavours. And time to enjoy it properly. Available throughout December.

For those looking to celebrate more privately, our elegant dining rooms are available for exclusive hire. Ideal for business team lunches, client entertaining or intimate family gatherings, each space offers the comfort of your own room, with attentive service and menus tailored to your occasion. Pre-book your drinks package and arrive to find everything ready and waiting at your table. No waiting at the bar. No first-round scramble. Just glasses poured, conversations flowing and the celebration already underway. Choose from a selection of curated drinks packages, designed to suit every style of celebration, from sparkling arrival moments to wine served with dinner.

NEW YEAR'S EVE 
This New Year’s Eve, join us at the House on the Hill for A Night of a Thousand Stars, an elegant celebration beneath a canopy of light as we welcome the year ahead in true Stanley House style. 

From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere is set. A glass in hand. Twinkling décor. A room dressed for the occasion. Take your seat for a beautifully prepared four-course dinner before the tempo rises. Our live DJ brings the dancefloor to life 
as the evening gathers energy and the countdown begins. As midnight approaches, glasses are raised once more beneath a ceiling of stars. The final moments of the year feel electric. The first moments of the next feel full of promise

Dress for the occasion. Stay for the sparkle. Dance well into the night. Because some nights are meant to shine a little brighter. Adults only.

There’s no need to end the party early when you book a hotel room with breakfast included. Sunday – Thursday: £129 | Friday – Saturday: £179. Rates are based on single occupancy and include bed & breakfast. (Subject to availability).

Stanley House is situated off the A677, Preston New Road, on a steep hill with un-interrupted views across the Ribble Valley and Lancashire. We are a 30-bedroom boutique country hotel with accommodation split across our 17th Century Manor House and the contemporary Woodlands building across the courtyard.
