Christmas at Crazy Bear is anything but quiet. From raucous party nights and legendary DJs to long festive lunches, Sunday jazz, Carols on the terrace and Christmas Day feasting, we’ve thought of just about everything. The hotel gets its full Christmas treatment too, dressed up, lit up and ready for a very long December. Take a look at what's on below and find your kind of Christmas.
CHRISTMAS PARTY NIGHTS
For a slightly more traditional kind of Christmas party, our Party Nights bring everyone together over a festive buffet, a glass of Prosecco on arrival and a resident DJ playing until midnight. Perfect for office parties, friends and end-of-year celebrations — just bring the people.
The evenings start at 7pm and finish at 1am. Shared tables for smaller parties, private tables from ten guests.
LEGENDARY PARTY NIGHTS
We’re bringing some of the biggest names in British house, soul and club culture to Stadhampton, including Norman Jay MBE, Brandon Block, Ricky Morrison, Ronnie Herel, Matt White and Norris ‘Da Boss’ Windross. Add Brazilian samba, live performers, a festive buffet and a dancefloor that stays busy until midnight. Christmas parties don’t get much better. This is what we're known for. Don't miss out.
FESTIVE LUNCHES
New for 2026. A proper Christmas lunch, taken slowly. No countdown, no turnaround, no rush back to the office unless you want one.
Served every day through December, from midday. 2- 40 guests.
CHRISTMAS CAROLS
Gather on the terrace for an evening of Christmas carols, mulled wine, mince pies and festive treats. With live choir performances, hot chocolate, marshmallows and s’mores - Charles Dickens would be proud. Sunday 13 December 5pm. Adults £8 Children £4.
FESTIVE SUNDAY JAZZ
A three-course festive roast, a few glasses of wine and live jazz. Our Festive Sunday Jazz afternoon is Christmas without the chaos — good food, good music and a very good excuse to get everyone around the table.
PRIVATE HIRE
Take a room, a terrace or the whole house. We will build the night around you, from the menu to the act to the finish time. Please enquire for more details.
STAY OVER
Nobody should be driving home from a Christmas party. Bedroom with late breakfast the next morning, no negotiation with a taxi app. Party rates on nights you are dining with us

About the venue
The Crazy Bear Stadhampton is a flamboyant Christmas venue in the Oxfordshire countryside, just 20 minutes from Oxford and 10 minutes from M40 J7. The original Crazy Bear has been entertaining guests since its creation in 1993 and now features a spectacular Christmas Garden, decorated English and Thai restaurants, and private event spaces.
